Sophiana clapped her hands nervously "Mum, Dad, Charlotta?" She plopped in the sagging arm chair and looked out the window at the sunny day. Charlotta blew on her nails as she glided down the stairs in a sun dress" Soph, you are going to have aneurysm at 15" Sophiana pouted and pulled on her pigtail braid. Giselle and Hiro clomped down the stairs and Sophiana smiled "Can we go get him now?" Giselle chirped "Of course, darling" Sophiana jumped down the stairs of the house and ran across the yard and stopped at the old car in the yard. She gazed into the ancient pinto car painted the color of blueberries. Giselle unlocked the doors and they all piled in. The ancient engine started wearily and started to move down the road. Charlotta folded her hands in her lap "What are we naming "it" Sophiana watched the house pass by and dirt road and fields fill the windows. She snuggled against the old tan creased leather that smelled of, well, old leather. "Shrimp" Charlotta did a double take "Like the crustacean? I mean I was thinking more of Barbie." The car stopped and she started to dance in her chair "We are here!" She tumbled out of the car and an old man tettered forward "Are you here for a dog?" Giselle nodded and he motioned toward the field "Take your pick they are all the same price" Sophiana looked at the barn and saw a small austrailan shepard mix hiding under a chicken coop. She layed down in the hay and stuck her hands out "Come out, babe." she cooed the dog forward, and he slowly exited from underneath. Sophiana picked him up "Hiya hun, do you want to come home?" The dog didn't struggle so she picked him up and took him out toward the car where Charlotta was already holding a small white fuzzy dog. She looked over at dog and frowned "Are you sure about that "dog" Sophiana messed up the dogs hair "I think he's perfect." She rolled her eyes. Hiro held out his hands "Look I am crazy thinking that the two of you can pick one dog. We will get both." Giselle held her hands together "Do they have names?" Charlotta pipped up "Katy" Sophiana held him up to her eye level "Shrimp" The man nodded and Hiro handed him the money. Again they all got back in the car. Expect for 2 extra passengers. They got home to see a familar face "Hey!" Sophiana called across the yard. She set Shrimp down and he piddled on the ground and started to sniff. Charlotta carried her down under her arm into the house "Have fun in the mud." Sophiana stuck her tounge out "Have fun indoors!" She watched as Shrimp tried to eat a bug "Look how cute he is." She looked up for reassurance

Hazel, who had been sitting on sophiana's front steps for a little while, waiting for her to get home, stood up as the car pulled in the driveway. someone cut the engine, and sophiana emerged from the baackseat. Hazel bolted off the porch, jumping over about three steps. she spread her arms, hurtling towards sophi. But when she approached, she ran right past and threw her arms around the dog a few yards behind. She scooped up the puppy and skipped up to sophiana. "WhO IS THIS? BECAUSE I THINK I LOVE IT!" she squealed and fiddled with shrimp's whiskers.
Sophiana clapped "This is my boyfriend, Shrimp." She nodded toward the house "The tiny, white, thing was Katy, Chars new dog." "We just got them, at a farm down the road." Shrimp sneezed when Hazel poked his nose. "He is the best."
"oohhhh darn, that means I can't date him...well, there you go, then!" she carefully placed shrimp on the ground, straightened up, and lightly brushed the dog hair off her blue and white skinny striped sundress. She glanced over at the tiny white dog. "figures char would get a dog like that, cute, but shrimp is wayyy cuter..." she turned back. "how are you, my friend of the forest?" she asked sophiana.
Sophiana opened the door and whistled for Shrimp "Come on, bumd, hop up them stairs." She shut the screen door once he had entered. She hopped up the stairs and slid into her moms sewing room "What should we do?"
Sophiana laughed "Of course, she does she is a seamstress." She glanced around "We have all fabrics." She bent over to look in a box "We have all the scraps, unwanted, orignal, special, and other stuff the store acumilates."
Cassi walked up the stairs, following the sound of Hazel and Sophiana's vioces. She popped her head in the room and said," Velvet. What are we talking about?" she asked with a giggle.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Its the cutest thing in the whole friggin world!!! Icould eat it its so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she ran over and snuggled it. the dog was very cute and soft, and very puppy-like.
"He is! His blue eyes just kill me! Hmmm...a velvet bow on his dress would be cute. Chiffon skirt, perhaps?" she eyed some pale blue chiffon in the corner.
"I wanna make the bow for his head!" Sophiana grabbed a silk ribbon "I mean, Hazels right I think blue." She grabbed some elastic and began to tie a bow around it. "Let's begin!" She fitted it around his head and set it down "Now for the dress. I was thinking of either a puffy one or a tube top looking dealio with a chiffon skirt."
Kairu entered the room, startling everyone. "I let myself in." She walked to the center of the room, but before she could plop down, she spotted the dog. "And who is this hansom young fellow?" She grabbed his fuzzy, floppy ears, putting her nose against his. "You're a dog! A dog, I say!" she cooed.
Sophiana smiled "That's Shrimp, we are going to make him a pretty princess dress." She turned to hazel, "A diffrent color of velvet for the top, maybe? What materual should we use for the dress, we just about everything."
"Silk is good." She threw some fabric across the room, so "Blue, puffy, with silk and chiffion. That's doable." She took a measuring tape from the desk covered with dress sketches, she crouched down and measured his waist "Now that's how wide it has to be, though we could use elastic in the waist." She picked up the silk and opened one of the desk drawers to get an elastic band, she walked across the room and sat at the sewing machine. She looked up and pulled the light chain above her head "Party time!"
