I think I may make hazel another daughter. I think her name will be tuesday, altohugh monday is still in the running. Have to decide on name, hair color, personality, middle name, etc.  But I definitely think I want hazel to have another child. just one. Maybe three years younger thsn allie.
Ideas-
-platinum blonde?
-blind?
-loves birds

Agggh, I want one of hazel's kids needs to be brunette, but it is genetically IMPOSSIBLe.

I would not make her blind, everyones kids are all sickly. Brunettes are nice, it probably is possible if hazel , or pauls parents had brown hair

No, because blond is recessive.

Really? I didn't know that.

I think maybe platinum would work- Blind would be... Well, not "nice" but y'know. I'd suggest mute, but I was thinking of making one of Dala's kid's a mute, so she could carry a little pad everywhere, and leave people little notes. Thought it'd be cool.

Like, is she a bird-fanatic?

no, I was thinking if she was blind, she would just love the sound.

Brown is dominanat, so If either parent had even one brown hair gene, they would have brown hair. they can be heterozygous for brown and blonde hair, but the brown is dominant so they would have brown hair.
they can have a blond gene, but it will not show. That's how two brunettes can have a blond child, but two blondes cant have a brunette. in order to have blonde hair you have to have two recessive genes. hope that isnt toooo confusing.

if you really wanted her brunette, she could dye it...

Not necessarly, recessive genes can sneak in there. But for the most part you are correct.

Genes are weird.

That's what I said. Someone can have a dominant and recessive gene, one brown, one blonde, but the brown is what's gonna show. so if it were possible for hazel and paul (both blondes) to have a brunette child, one of them would have brown hair.
