Zinnia sat at the table, chewing her toast. As she reached for the eggs, a pale hand slapped hers, making her draw back.
"The heck, Alina?" she hissed, rubbing the back of her hand and glaring up at her twin sister. Alina glared back. "You. That's what. While I'm over there, bearing Halen and those girls that follow him around all the time, you're over hear, having the time of your life and eating eggs!" she screeched, causing several people to stare.
"Halen isn't that bad, Alina," Zinnia reasoned, trying to subdue her angry twin. "It's not his fault that those whores follow him all the time." She said venomously, narrowing her eyes in the direction of the Hufflepuff table, where Halen sat eating, several girls huddled together a few seats down, watching him.
"And if you don't want to deal with it, maybe you could work on that essay for Divination that's due? Esther's already finished all her homework that's been assigned, and this is only her first year here," Zinnia suggested, stabbing at her quiche with her fork.
"Well, bully for Esther, this is me we're talking about!" Alina replied, throwing her arms up in the air. "Save me!" Zinnia sighed, abandoning all hopes of finishing her breakfast in peace. "Fine. We'll go find the others, and skip first and second period." she said, getting up from the bench. "Finally. Thank you!" Alina cried in an exasperated voice, following her sister out of the great hall.
((No... Wait.... Um.... Zinnia and Alina are two years older, so... This i s sixth year for them, fourth/first for Esther. Alina drops out this year, shortly))
((No, It's fine :) I just thought i'd tell you )) Allie walked in, Followed by kitty, who shoved the vitamin D bottle into her hands and veered off to find the twins. She wore her usual hogwarts dress and her choppy vibrant yellow ponytail swaying. allie took her usual seat next to Esther at the slytherin table. She glanced over at the hufflepuff table, but quickly turned back to her plate, giving herself a healthy portion of the eggs.
Halen, at the Hufflepuff table, picked up his plate and marched resolutely over to the Slytherin table, sitting next to Allie. Esther smirked. The girls back at the table made faces and skulked over near Slytherin table.
"Hey, Halen, why are girls following you?" Esther asked, helping herself to rolls. "They're really creepy." Halen shrugged. "Yes, yes they are. Are you two feeling alright today? Don't exert yourselves," he said, handing Esther some fish oil pills. "Boost your immune system," he said simply as Esther scoffed.
Halen glanced at Allie. "What's up with you? D'you like school so far?"
Esther's eyes darted between the two. "Uh-huh... I like school fine too, Halen, thanks," she said, putting down her fork. "Hey, have either of you noticed Alina acting a little more b**chy than usual?"
Esther looked around. "Dunno, haven't seen her lately. Halen?" she asked, noticing Halen edging away from another group of girls. "Anyways, Alina's grades are even worse than usual- ditto as to her relationship with Zinnia, which is usually a good one,"
"Hope who comes down soon?" said a voice. Esther looked up with Halen, spying Alitza skipping over from the Ravenclaw table, should-length, lop-sided-ly cut hair bouncing as she skipped. She plopped down beside Allie. "Hey, guys, who're we talking about?" she repeated, loading her plate with toast and friend potato and egg. With a mouth full of potato, she asked, "Feh, 'ave 'ou two seen 'innia? Or-" she swallowed. "Is she already finished with breakfast?" she looked around. "Oh. Hullo, Halen," she said, beaming. "And Esther! And Allie!" she seemed to be acting as though she had only just spotted them.
Alitza glanced around, checking to be sure that no one they new was around. Esther leaned in, while Halen was on the run from the fan-girls. "Alina's dropping out," Alitza said finally, in a dramatic stage-whisper. Esther made a face. "What for?" she asked. Alitza shrugged.
"Well, her grades suck balls-" "Naturally," Esther interjected. Alitza nodded. "And she says she 'wants to help Alice and Orion out' but I don't believe it." Esther nodded. "Load of Waffle," she commented, making a 'tch'-ing noise.
Alitza nodded over her potatoes as she scarfed them down. "Of course she will, Zinnia's never had any trouble at all with grades,"
Esther nodded. "Where is everybody else?" she asked, spying Halen ducking out of the double doors. Alitza looked up. "Hm, now that you mention it, I haven't seen Daisy or Penny or anyone this morning at all... I miss Vesper," she said sadly, prodding her remaining crumbs with her fork.
