"Oh, great, more people," Alina sighed from her chair by the fire, "A Slice of Organic Life" in her hands open to page 45. She surveyed Hazel and Allie as they trundled out of the fireplace and into their TV room. A faint crash was heard as Zinnia slid in her socks down the black and white flecked tile halls, her hair in a choppy ponytail, fully dressed in bubble shorts and blue tank top.

"Mum!" she called, looking about. Esther came in behind her, hands over her ears. "MUM!" Zinnia screeched for a second time, as Esther made her way onto the porch, smiling at the two Castleberry's for a brief moment. Alice rushed into the room, hair half-straightened and pajamas still on.

"What? What?" she asked in a worried voice, then she spied the two people dropping ashes on her flokati rug. "Oh. Christ, Zinnia, I thought Esther had collapsed, and I couldn't find her. You need to use a quieter voice," she scolded. She smiled. "Hazel! It's really good to see you!" she chirped, bounding up to Hazel and giving her a hug. "And Allie! You've met Esther, right? Or not... I don't even know where she is..." she trailed off. "Well, Orion's taking Alina, Zinnia and Halen to the station shortly, d'you want something to eat?" Alice asked as Halen slowly made his way into the room.

He waved at Hazel and Allie, avoiding the gaggle of female humans and making a beeline for the refridgerator.

"yes, miss alice, I've known Esther for two years now! you must not be fully awake?" allie asked. She turned to zinnia. "Hey, we match!" she grinned(uncharacteristically) and pointed to her own black bubble shorts, although they were paired with a lolita blouse. she held offered her fist to Zinnia to punch. with her other hand she waved to halen. "Hullo again Esther!, I haven't seen you all summer..."

Sophiana arrived in the fireplace, Daisy stopped yelling to see the crowd her adjusted her yellow skirt and smiled "Wow! Hi alice, hazel, and crew!" Sophiana smiled as well and as they exited the fireplace as Daisy pulled her trunk into the room, Charlie popped in after "Hey you forgot your-" He held up guinea pig shirt at Daisy and also adjusted his shirt "Well umm howdy there!" He smiled at Hazel, ALice, and kids.

Zinnia punched Allie's fist a little too enthusiastically, while Alice murmured something about going out with Orion and his friends drinking the night before. Halen's face turned a shade darker as Allie waved, and buried his face out of sight in the freezer.

Esther looked up from her books, a stoic expression on her face. "It's good to see you," she said quietly, a smile tugging on the edges of her pale lips as she stood up carefully, and walked briskly over to give Allie a very rare hug. Alina made a scathing noise.

"The two Quarantine Kids, off to go study in a bubble," she said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Alice glared. "Don't start on them, Alina Hella, you will be punished!" she said harshly, going to her room through the closet in the hallway that connected her room to the hall. Halen, too, glared at Alina, while Zinnia looked a little torn. Alina scoffed.

"Sorry, I messed with you bestie sister, didn't I, Halen?" she mocked, getting up. Halen glowered. "I like Esther and Zinnia- It's you I've got a problem with," he said quietly, taking some toast and tea and going to his room. A girl with dark brown hair passed him, and surveyed the scene.

"Visitors!" Dala exclaimed, clapping her hands. "Zinnia, why didn't you say anything? Breakfast anyone?" she asked, going to the kitchen as Orion sauntered in. "Oh, and Zinnia? Bott needs feeding..."

"Hello people I don't really recognize!" Dala called over the bar. "Toast? Kippers?" she asked, heating up a pan. Orion rubbed his eyes. "Too noisy..."

Alina was glaring after Halen, and Esther was giving her an icy look. "Hello, Daisy." she said in a calm voice, not taking her eyes off of her older sister.

"oh, hello, I don't think I know you..." allie said flatly. Hazel pinched her. "ALLIE! You met Daisy at the beginning of the summer. Stop with the ice thing please...." she scolded, regarding allie's unfriendly manner. Allie glared at her mother and reluctantly held out a hand for Daisy, sighing. Her face softened a bit. "hullo...i'm allie lola, Hazel's daughter.....I suppose you're going to hogwarts today?"

Daisy smiled and waved, she didn't really understand family arguments but she took her shirt from her dad and hugged him, "Hi Ester, and Allie, Halen." Daisy rubbed her hand down her leg and adjusted her grey tank top. Sophiana leaned on the counter near Dala. She stuck her hand out "Sophiana."

((she really only kinda knows yalls kids she went to hoggy while they stayed at home.))

Daisy smiled at her and stuck out her hand "Daisy Elliot. Yeah I go every year I am in Ravenclaw, and you?"

"Ahh, you're so lucky..." allie replied airily. "My stupid vitamin D- less bones would break or something If i were to actually DO anything..." she finished sarcastically. "By the way, I would normally completely disregard you, but you seem okay and you're sophi's daughter so you must be okay..." the airy tone resumed. "Hmm, Dala, i may take you up on your fritters offer..."

"Sup," Dala replied, doing some strange dead-fish handshake with Sophiana's hand. "I'm Dala- Delphinia, whichever you prefer. I'm Orion's cousin," she said, introducing herself. "Want something to eat? Does your daughter like bugs? Do you do Yoga?" she asked in one breath.

"Will do, Allie, will do!" Delphinia said, pouring vegetable oil into the pan. Esther looked Daisy up and down. "You really are lucky, you know," she said conversationally.

"Hullo, Daisy," Halen replied, walking back into the room as Alina left, elbowing him in the stomach. "ALINA!" Zinnia cried, patting Halen on the head. Esther stared at Daisy. "Charmed, I'm sure." she said softly, shaking Daisy's hand. "I'm Esther..." Alice made a face, popping back into the room. "You met her earlier, dear, she knows who you are,"

Alina ran back into the room, her face contorted in anger. "DELPHINIA CARMOLY I WILL KILL YOU!" she yelled, pushing the frying pan off of the stove, the hot metal landing on Dala's feet and burning holes in her socks.

"Ow! What the h*ll, Alina!?" Dala screeched, holding her foot. Orion rushed over, wand out, attempting to get past Alina to heal the burns. "Your stupid insects, that's what!" Alina replied, holding up a dead Scarab Beatle. Dala gasped, holding out her hands. "Why'd you kill it?" "It was in my effing room!" "SO?" Dala replied, glaring up at Alina. "SO IT WAS IN MY ROOM!"

Alice turned to Hazel and Sophiana. "I am so, so sorry. I'm not going to lie, this is pretty much routine..."

As Allie turned Daisy lifted her eyebrow "Yes, I like to think I'm okay." Daisy tugged on her pigtail ribbions and sat on a chair. She thought to herself till she heard a sharp noise.

Daisy walked over to Dala "I like bugs, I would love a fritter that someone mentioned and I have never done yoga but it sounds lovley."

Delphinia, whose feet were being mended by Orion as Alina was sent to her room, glanced over happily. "D'you wanna see my room? I have tons of bugs! Millions of bugs!"

"It's true," Halen called from his seat on the sopha. Dala's eyes sparkled. "You wanna see?"

Daisy giggled "That would be really nice, Dala." Sophiana smiled at the chaos going around "So is everyone ready to go to school?"

Allie followed Daisy and Dala to her room. "Bott is my favorite. he's such a lovely color."

Dala smiled as Zinnia, Alina and Halen bustled around with their trunks, putting them with Daisy's. "Oh, why thank you! Bott's my personal friend- No one else here really likes him at all besides... Well... After a while they all got used to him, so I guess everyone here likes him and the rest but Alina." she resolved, opening the cage to a large magenta caterpillar. "Wanna hold it? Here, Daisy, you need to go to school soon, so you first!"

Daisy peered into the cage with wide eyes "He's beautiful!" She eagerly held her hands out

" Miss Dala, Is that one new? Of course, there aare so many I'd never know..." allie peered over Daisy's shoulder at the bug.

Dala smiled. "Yep- Bought it for fifty bucks. They didn't want his species anymore, and he was at the Museum of Natural Sciences, so I bought him." she explained, poking the fuzzy caterpillar. "He's awesome- Name's Cabbage."

Daisy cooed over the fuzzy and Sophiana walked in "Umm what is that?" Daisy turned and grinned "Cabbage!" Sophiana thougt for a moment "I thought they were green?" "No, his name is Cabbage." She nodded and walked into the living room she plopped on a chair and put the shirt Charlie brought in. She proped her feet on the trunk. Daisy passed Cabbage over to Dala. She returned to the living room and sat on an avaliable couch.She pulled on her ribbon holding up one of her pigtails. "So Alina and Zinnia are two years older?" Sophiana nodded "Yeah I'm pretty sure. And Allie and Ester are you age. Oh! And Halen is one year older." SHe nodded very satisfied with her basic math. Daisy Tugged at her skirt in an akward way. She glanced around and noted the room. She rubbed her arm and shrugged her shoulders.

"Like your skirt..." allie made an attempt at conversation. She fidgeted a little. Being nice to unfamiliar people was difficult for her.

Daisy smiled "Thanks! I love the yellow color, and the way it billows when you spinn or run-" She gushed without breathing and cut herself short and stared at the floor. "Thank you, Allie."

Zinnia walked in, a whole piece of toast sticking out of her mouth. "Fwat fime ish i'?"

Allie laughed. "No Idea, feels like eight thir-" POP! Paul came out of the fireplace, followed by kitty, ash in her violently yellow scene hair. She wore layered white and black tank tops , short, electric blue ruffly shorts, pink extensions in her hair, and black high tops. she lugged her trunk into the room, then casually walked over to zinnia. She took the corner off the piece of toast sticking out of zinnia's mouth and ate it.

Zinnia made a face. "Fey, fat waf my toash!" she said, then she hugged Kitty, whilst removing toast from her own mouth. "Good to see you, Kitty!"

"Ohhh, but It looked so good! " kitty hugged back. "Good to see you too! it's been a whole two weeeeks!" she replied excitedly. "How's Alina doing? Better? Worse? She seemed a little um, angry I guess, the last time I was here."

Zinnia shrugged. "Always worse. When we left Hogwarts last year she was failing in nearly everything. And apparently she hates you. Y'know, I haven't been following her around as much lately," she explained, glancing around. "Not that that's bad. I was getting a little tired of it. And you don't yell at me like she does," Zinnia smiled, patting Kitty on the back.

"yayy, woot! " kitty said." No yelling!...I wonder why she hates me? Although he seems to hate everyone these days, so i'm not surprised."
