Alina and Zinnia, Halen and Esther

Alina and Zinnia were born June 27, 2003. They both have vivid red hair and hazel eyes with pale skin, although Zinnia has a fair amount of freckles as well, and at thirteen dyes most of her hair electric blue. Zinnia is the scenester of the family, and Alina is the goth/punk girl. Both follow their mother as a vegetarian, and both get into a lot of trouble later in life for egging fast-food places. Alina is sorted into Hufflepuff house, and Zinnia is sorted to Gryffindor.

After completing school Zinnia works part-time at a library and is an animal rights activist. Alina buys a bakery, and later employs Zinnia when she get fired from the library.

I haven't really worked out their later time lines- I replaced Alice's old kids with these, and some of them got married to others' children, so I need to figure that out

Halen was born March 16, 2004, and has black hair and hazel eyes. He doesn't believe in vegetarianism, and spends a lot of his time loudly cooking and eating bacon in front of his three sisters. He was sorted into Hufflepuff, and after graduating takes over the family business.

Esther, the youngest, was born October 25, 2005, and has white-blond hair and blue eyes. The most lolita-esque in the family, she is also vegetarian. ((And I was actually thinking of making her albino but I'm not sure yet...)) She's loud and dis-organized, and prefers subdued hues of lavender, light blue and gray over brighter shades. She is sorted into Slytherin house, and after graduating starts designing furniture and eventually starts her own business.

That's all I've got so far, they're still in the making.

yay! i like alice's new kids much better. And its cool because theyre all compatible with hazel's children (as in friendsly wise). Alina and zinnia sound like they would be kittys friends (only one year older) and esther would go well with Claire's replacement. :D and Halen will go with jane, although, i'm going to change her some, and maybe when i do she'll be hazels kid again...

And your hair color isn't necessarily gotten from your parents. I know people who look absolutely nothing like their parents. You can get hair and eye color genes from other genes in your parents that just didn't come out dominant with them. It's not like your mother has brown hair, so you'll definitely have brown hair.

but, you are way more likley to have genes from her mother or father, Ahh well no worries. Again with the albino, I definatley would not.

3rd gen OC, Avila (and her sister) is albino. moe's sister, remember?

the internet has confirmed that a red haired and black haired couple can have a blond baby!

Aww maaan.

I think it's be bitchin if she was albino. As long as she was the only one, though. One rarity isn't going to be THAT bad, I don't think. It's not too big of a deal anyhow. BTW- we all know what's being said in between the lines, so why don't we just cut the crap? biggrin

I think the twins, kitty and penny should all be good friends.

This is kind of off topic- but I don't suggest lolita. It's a wicked high maintenance style. The whole lolita thing is so underground, anyhow. I'm sure if they where all friends one of them would discover it and share it with the rest, but besides that I think it would be really difficult to pull off.  I think you guys should stick with the lolita  if it's a replacement OC, but after that put it on the back burner.

Just suggestions, ha ha. Sorry if this offends anyone.

What do you mean "in between the lines"?

I might still make her Albino, I'm not sure. And if I did, it'd make more sense that Razentchia and Avila were Albino- they'd have the genes.

I suppose lolita is a bit hard to maintain. I might make her goth. A lot less complex.

Well, I don't really know what that means, but okay....?

I think I will make her albino. Because it wouldn't make sense for no one in the family to be albin before, and then have them later. So I think I will. :)

Esther, the youngest, is an Albino, and spends her days in the shade of the screen porch, watching her siblings. Esther, although she is drawn strongly to the out doors, is not allowed out much at all. Her pale skin is easily damaged from UV rays, and her eyes are also very sensitive to the light. Although Esther positively hates her skin and eyes, the one body feature she loves is her hair. She wears clothes in more subdued tones, as she is afraid to make a huge statement, on top of being an Albino. She is very in to modern literature, and although she does have a taste in the modern pop culture for her music choices, she prefers classical.
Esther also owns a pet ferret, as she cannot often follow her siblings out of doors. The animal, who she calls Ziggy, is her closest friend, and she takes him everywhere. She also has a taste for horror films, some of her favorites made by Alfred Hitch****, who is her favorite director.

haha, I like her better albino. and she would still be friends with claire('s replacement)...Who is not allowed to go to hogwarts until 4th year because of a condition. They could visit....or be homeschooled together. In that case it would make more sense for them to be lolitas, because they'd have more time to take care of the high maintenance style :) it solves everything. basically.

Hooray! Sounds good. It does make more sense for Esther to stay home for the first couple of years because of her weakness to sunlight. I suppose Alice has her stay home to build up her immune system and resistance to the light. :) Yes, and they can study together on the porch!

I have also decided that Orion's cousin lives with them, because I was drawing the other night and it was meant to be Alice and it didn't look like her or her kids at all so I made someone else because I was bored. :)


The Popin family also shares their house with Orion's impulsive cousin, Delphinia. Delphinia, who they call Dala, lived in Alaska for 15 years, until deciding to come and live with Orion at age 22. She is very flexible, and takes it upon herself to teach Yoga to anyone who'll listen. She's vegan, and encourages the other family members to follow suit, although that never actually happens. Dala has dark brown hair and green eyes, and has fairly tan skin. She is attracted to dangerous things, and bruises easily, so she always has a fair amount of new bruises on her skin at the end of each day. The only one in the family who really listens to Dala's Yoga instructing is Esther who, as she can't go outside, has nothing else better to do. Along with herself, Dala also brings a pet Velvet Ant, who's cage is nearly constantly avoided by all members of the family aside from Zinnia, who takes an interest in it from day one, along with a vast collection of carnivorous plants, which are all kept in her room. Dala loves poetry, her favorite being The Dormouse and the Doctor by Alan Alexander Milne. She loves romantic comedies, and cooking.

Hmm, i've come up with claire's replacemen, but can't decide on hair color. i was thinking sort of platinum blonde, a light caramel color, or a honeyish blonde.

her hair is bobbed at about chin length and she has grey eyes..
