Alice skirted around the many mirrors, her burgundy hair catching no light. She wore a bright orange strapless mini-dress, a silver toboggan perched on her head, the ties hanging down. Her gray canvas booties clacked on the hard tile floors as she stalked her friend. Then, when she was behind her, she decided now was the time to announce herself.

"Boo," she whispered in Sophiana's ear, stealing a piece of her friends sugary treat.

Alice laughed, smacking on her piece of cotton candy. It was good to Sophiana again.

"Nothing much," she replied, pulling a strand on wine-colored hair away from her face. "I mean, well..." she paused, smirking. She held out one pale, long fingered hand, showing off a dazzling silver ring with inset Citrine gems. Alice looked Sophiana in the eye, awaiting approval.

Alice hugged Sophiana, glad for the reaction. She nodded vigorously.

"He's here somewhere, I asked him to go and get us some drinks," she explained, smiling. "Can I count on you to be there as one of my Maids of Honor?" she asked, as she slowly walked Sophiana to the Haunted House.

"Wanna go in?" she inquired, looking round at Sophiana.

Alice scoffed. "Sophiana, no matter what you say, I think you made a wonderful unicorn," she laughed, grabbing her friends' hand and leading her inside. "Scared of ghosts?" Alice whispered, turning the dark corner.

"So," she continued as they made their way down the seemingly deserted halls. "How're things with you and Char-" her whisper was cut off by nails scratching on a chalk board. "GAH!" Alice screeched, covering her toboggan flaps over her ears with her hands.

Alice stopped dead. She turned. "Oh... Soph, I am so, so sorry," she said quietly, taking her friends hand. "I didn't... I didn't mean to," she stuttered, trying to correct her mistake. She led her friend on through the maze.

"Well, how's Spencer?" she asked tentatively. "I don't think I've met him yet,"

Alice, laughing, pulled her back up. As they walked, she casually attempted to change the subject.

"Well, what have you been doing? Have you seen anyone else?" she asked, screaming a little as a fake axe was thrown in her path. "We had MiMik and Neil over a few nights ago. I think they're doing well." she rambled, talking animatedly with her hands.

"I just recently opened a Garden Center- It's been doing fairly steady business," she said, peering over at the aqua-haired girl at her side. "Oh, and I've been wondering- Do you have a dog-" she wailed as she tripped over a "dead body" in the middle of her path. Face flat on the floor, she coughed.

"-I just got a Great Dane named Chernobyl. She needs a friend to play with." she finished, her voice muffled by concrete.

Alice smiled. "Ah, how romantic," she sighed, clasping her hands. "All you wanted was a little corgi, but instead you got a corgi, and a man!" she said, laughing.

"Chernobyl is the best. I love big dogs," she said, chewing on her lower lip. "I've wanted a Great Dane since I was little." She glanced over at Sophiana.

"Coffee business, eh?" Alice asked, sounding intrigued. "I might just have to pop by there and sample a'somethin'."

Alice patted her friend on the back. "If you'd like to be a florist, you're always welcome at my Green Houses- I'm thinking about opening up a boquet section. You'd be welcome to it," she said, pulling out an electric blue with cherry-red hounds tooth print wallet.

"Here's my card." she said officially, handing over a shimmery silver business card with the words "Popin Floral" printed in orange.

((I'll think of another name later. and does mango exist or did you just change her name?))

"And, you should be expecting me for the next couple of days at your coffee house," she finished, sighing. "What say you to finding the guys?"

Alice clapped her hands. "Whoops-a-daisy, I seem to have given him too much to handle," she said loudly, catching Orion's attention, earning her an exasperated look. She added in an undertone- "Although, he can put up with me, so it really shouldn't be that difficult..."

She ran towards her fiancee, Sophiana in tow. "Orion! We've been waiting a long time," she said, taking Chernobyl from him, holding tight to the electric blue leather leash. She handed the lime soda to Sophiana, and took the melon smoothie for herself, sipping contently at the purple straw.

"Thanks," Orion replied, rolling his eyes as he took a sip of his coca cola. "Both of your drinks were twice as expensive as this." he added, pointing to the smoothie and lime soda, and then at the coke. Alice made a scathing noise, pouring some of her smoothie into Chernobyl's open mouth.

"Where's the fun in getting such a boring drink?" she retorted, winking at Sophiana. "If drinking is necessity, let it be done in style!"

Alice made a look of mock-offense. "Of course it good soda! I picked it out!" she giggled, taking another sip of her smoothie. Orion, who ignored her, replied-

"I was thinking sometime in in December or January," he said, one hand in his pocket, the other holding his drink. "Alice like the chill best. But her garment plans got in the way..." he trailed off, giving Alice a tiring look. She looked back at him, wide-eyed.

"No way am I changing it... Maybe..." she wavered, looking down and patting Chernobyl on the head.

Alice put a hand on her hip. "Orion is a little pi**ed because I wanted to do a desert theme," she explained, sparing Orion a haughty glance. She smiled at Sophiana. "I want my Maids of Honor to all be holding cactus flowers..." she sighed, trailing off. Orion shook his head.

"It's her new obsession..." he said, shaking his head again. "How're things, Sophiana?" he asked, changing the subject. "Heard your in the coffee business from Ch-" Alice began to shake her head frantically. "...Arlie?" he finished, giving Alice a funny look. Alice did a face-palm, and Chernobyl began to bark loudly.

Alice clapped her hands. "Wow... That sounds really pretty... Can we do that?" she asked Orion. He just nodded.

Orion, feeling awkward, began shuffling his feet, as Alice glared at him. Chernobyl hopped up on Sophiana's legs, attempting to lick her face. "Down, Chernobyl, down!" Alice called, pulling the leash.

"Um, hey, how about we go and find a roller coaster?" Alice asked, drinking her smoothie. "Is Spencer here?"

Chernobyl began to bark avidly, leaping up and down, making Alice abandon her near-finished smoothie and hold on to the leash with both hands. "Sorry," she said apologetically, tugging on the leash.

"It's nice to meet you, Spencer," Orion said, patting Lemon on the head. "How did you two meet? How long have you been together?" Orion asked, attempting to make pleasant conversation.

Sophiana giggled at Chernobyl and Orions attempt. Spencer didn't seem to notice though. " I um work as a dog trainer and Soph came in to ask for directions and ended up with a date, and she bought lemon of their." Sophiana reached for his hand "We've been together for 3 months." "So um lets go to that roller coaster, she mentioned.." He looked at Alices hand "So how long have you too been engaged?" Sophiana smiled and hugged Hazel "Wow! You look great!"
