Alice scoffed. "How many times have you gone off, or almost gone off, on Sirius now?" she hissed. "It's seriously starting to bug me."

"Maybe you should ignore it," Raynee said. Her heart was pretty much set on not going off again. "I said sorry, but it a bit sad that you won't accept that, i'm not sure what you expect me to do. Anyway, I can't do much more for you anway," she said. Her palms were now sweating, as they always did when she was nervous. 'Be assertive! Don't let her talk to you like that!' a little voice in the back of her head said. "and i didn't appreciate that, Alice," she mumbled. 'Lame,' she thought.

Edward laughed. "You're fine. Cassi is the one who flirts."

Cassi · Dare you to touch it!

"you irritate me raynee. not accepted.sirius is my friend and so is alice and if you have a problem with them,as you obviously do, you have a problem with me." Cassi said with a slight sneer and narrowed eyes,stepping closer to her friends.

Danny looked over at them. This wasn't going well.
"Fine then. I have no intention of begging, if that's what you guys want," she mumbled, and she turned back to Danny. "Can we go?" she asked.
"They didn't accept?" he asked. She explained her situation.
"Ah, it's ok. Time heals everything, hm?" he said, trying to be cheerful. Raynee felt her cheeks redden with anger. "I had no problem with Cassi, and I hadn't really a problem with the others. Just they way they were talking to each other." 'Why can't i talk to them like that?' she thought. 'I suck.'
"It's people like them who give you low self-esteem," Danny said.
"Stop...they might now be my friends, because they hate me and all, but that doesn't mean you can talk about them that way," Raynee sai din their defense.

((...wow..you guys are cold. XD) Just joking. Not to say that she deserved ALL of that. She only deserved about 3/4 of it.))

Sirius laughed at Ed on the floor, and at Alice. She could torture him well. She knew how. She turned to Raynee "Look, if you wanna get mad, get mad. I'm terribly sorry if my comments upset you, but it could be way worse. I mean, look at Ed. Alice tortures my boyfriend, of all people, and I get over it. Actually, I think it's quite funny...but, If you wanna hate me, I'l get over it. Other people don't bother me, unless they are staring and jumping to crazy conclusions." She shrugged.

Raynee was taken aback. She didn't get mad and express it. When she was mad, she usually went and played with Astric, her owl. She paled a bit. "I don't hate you," she said, looking at the floor.

"Good. You don't join the ranks of my bro and the firewhiskey incidents." Sirius shuddered, remembering.

Her breath caught for a moment. She had been spaced out, thinking about why the sky was blue, just in case something mean was said. She had been taken by surprise. "Why is it I can't seem to be able to say anything mean? I think I should practice," she said. She looked at Danny. "Right?"
"It wouldn't hurt you to be more assertive..." he admitted.

"You don't have to ignore me though..." Sirius grinned and turned to Ed, "I'm cold." She announced. He looked at her, "So?" Sirius grinned, "S can I have your sweater?" "I thought you said it looked dorky?" She smiled. "It does. On you, on me, it's huge and comfy!" He siged and pulled it off, passing it to her. She grinned and put the thing on. Yup. Huge.

As soon as she talked to Raynee she was gonna go find Hazel, having successfully acquired a sweater vest. She was cold, just not overly so.

"It's ok, Edward, i thought it looked nice on you," she laughed. Danny put his hand on her shoulder. "...Let's not tell lies," he said, jokingly.
"I wasn't," she said, oblivious to the joke. "Oh, and I ignore almost everyone...I wonder why people call me spacey," she said.

"Erm...yeah, but, he still looks like a dork, in my opinion. Tom wouldn't say so, but I would!" Sirius laughed, not sure if she was forgiven or what.

Raynee laughed. "Aww, poor Edward!" she exclaimed in false sadness. Danny smiled.
"What about me, Raynee? Do I look dorky?" he asked.
"Yes," she said flatly. Joking, of course.
"Uhm...Oh, my god," he said.
"What?"
"You just insulted me," he said in awe.
"I...did?"
"Heck yeah!"

"Insulting people is my norm, cept I never mean it. Well I take that back. Ed will always be a dorky idiot, which is why I refuse to marry him..." Sirius laughed, about as serious as always.

Raynee smiled, feeling accomplished. "That felt good," she said.

Alice laughed. "Man, Ed. You actually look decent without the sweater." she laughed. It wasn't the ditsy laugh. Just the normal laugh. Ed glared. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked. "Erm... you're hideous." she said, as if it were obvious.

Raynee laughed. "Why's this amusing?" she asked no one in particular. She looked at Edward's expression, and she laughed again. "Danny, why are you so quiet?" she demanded. "Am I?" he asked, gazing into her pale green eyes.
"Yes," she said. He looked at Edward. "Hi," he greeted him.

"insulting people is what we do best! we all love ed,not like sirius does obviously,and make fun of him because of it.i make fun of tom all the time,but its because i love him to bits!hes mah baybay! but isnt it FUN?"cassi said quickly, finally smiling at raynee.

"Um, Raynee, saying yes to a question isn't really 'insulting'. Try this on for size..." Alice walked away for a second. She came back holding her wand, and several chocolate frogs. Ed was ignoring her. She ripped open the packaging, and waved her wand. They all flew towards Ed. "Ow! Stop it, Alice." he said. She snickered. "Can't you see it? They like you! You look like just their type: Ugly, stupid, fat, dorky, and loud." she sneered. "Not to mention frog-like." she added. Then she made each frog explode in his face, covering him in chocolate. "That actually does you good, Ed. Makes you look sorta' like a goose, but..." she snickered. then, she waved her wand, making her trademark bubbles appear((read the profile, losers who don't know)) She waved her wand again, cleaning him up. "Oh, no!" she exclaimed. "The chocolate's left a huge, ugly stain on Eddy's face!" she exclaimed. "I don't see anything." Sirius pointed out. Alice looked taken aback, then checked again. "Oh, wait, that's how it always looks. Never mind. No damage done than already taken." she said, sneering.

"Ok... I can live with that!" she said cheerfully. Danny grabbed Raynee's hand, as if to insinuate that they were going out, which, obviously, they weren't. They had known each other since they were 11, though, when they first went to Hogwarts, and they were the kind of friends who everyone would thought that should be going out, even though they disagreed. Danny looked down at her, as if looking for approval, and she didn't pull away.

Raynee smiled and looked up at him. "Er," he said, but he didn't finish it, because raynee threw a rock that she found on the floor at his head. "Tee hee!" she giggled, and he laughed with her. "Is this what you go through every day?" he asked Edward incredulously.

"oooh! theres still some chocolate on ed!" Cassi yelled, running over to ed and licking the chocolate off of his arm." you taste weirdd ed." cassi stated

"Uhm." Raynee and Danny dropped their hands to the sides. "Er...uh..."Raynee tried to think of something to say, but couldn't, so he took over. "Nothing," he said, just like a guy. Why is ti they never want to admit it when they like someone? This frustrated Raynee in the smallest bit, but she didn't pay it much mind.

Alice smirked. "Whatevs, yo." she smiled. "Let's dump this joint." she said, and the plump woman at the counter glared. "Let's go to the Hogshead... or back to school, I guess. It's been a while."
