Kairu stood outside a dress shops window, face pressed against the glass. her swoon fogged the glass. She furrowed her frow, turning to Hazel. "I need a dress." She realized. The small diamond on her finger glinted in the sumer heat.
She shuffeled into the shop, looked around fro that perfect dance. A saled clerk adressed them. "Ah hello to the happy couple!" kairu Corected her imeiatly. "No, no! She's my best friend. i'm marring her cousin." The clerk coughed, then continued with the sale. "Well, let's get you into something!" The clerk lead kairu and hazel too a dressing room.
Hazel did not dismiss the comment so easily. She poked the sales lady in the middle of the back and hissed "Don't go makin' jokes 'bout that. youre bound to end up sorry one day if two girls come in here and actually are a couple." The clerk cringed. Anyway, we're looking for a dress for Kairu's wedding. Mind you, I don't quite know what she's looking for."
(( I imagine the store being olive green with dark hardwood floors and pretty wall sconces))
"Well, lets go. Prejudice fools...." Kairu muttered, leaving the dress shop. "Let's head over there." She ran acroos the streat into a different shop. This one had white walls and brige carpet. Kairu walked up to the counter, huffing, "I need a dress, yo..." The clerk giggled, looking kairu up and down. "i know what to do. Just go back there." Kairu began to walk into a closet, but then stopped. "My best friend should be here soon."
Hazel chased after Kairu and found herself in a very fancy white shop with bright lighting. "OOOH! this shop's pretty!" hazel said, as she walked over to kairu.
A clerk was directing Kairu around, telling her that they may have to "size up" and "How old are you?" and the lot. "I'm 17. And madly in love with a guy named Smith Rigby. Go tell the ministry, for all I care." She looked to Hazel. "This place stinks... you wanna go?"
"YEAH. Nosy flobberworms." She said, turning back to glare at the clerk." Gawd! What is it with sales clerks? OO! Lets try this place!" Hazel skipped off down the street to a shop with a banana yellow front.
Sophiana did a summer salut out of the alley way as she watched her friends shop inocently moohahahaha she thought they soon will know diffrent!! She walked behind hazel a little ways and stopped as the two walked into the little banana shop. She was about to jump on them when Vinyaya can up and yelled in the middle of her jump. Sophiana flipped around while jumping and fell to flowers by shop. "Vinyaya" Sophiana squeled
The shop had several happy colours. The top half of the wall was sea foam green and the bottom was lavender. Kairu skiped inside the closet, but on her way..."HAZEL SOLOMON YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS...." Kairu stood gapeing at a dress on display. It was white, with a glittering bodace. (Well it's penelope's wedding dress, ha ha.)
Sophiana limped into the dress shop her old jeans had a rip in the knee that had a hankerchief rapped around it. "Omg!!" sophiana squeled as she stood next to the white dress. She turned to Kairu she smiled and looked at the price tag."Kairu i have found you're wedding present."
Kairu followed her gaze; The price was, well, high, but not too high, like ridiculously... "I'll take it!" She practicaly yelled. "Sophiana, I need it for the wedding. Would it work as a gift?"The sales clerk came over and took the dress, putting it into a large box.
Hazel was preoccupied by another dress. Above the knee. Soft yellow. lots of lace 'n 'bows. "OO! D'you reckon I could wear this to your wedding?" She asked. "or would you rather I wear something more traditional? By the way, who's gonna be your maid of honor anyway? We should get something special for her. I never am up to date on anything."
"It's Judith." Kairu said, feeling the fabric between her thumb and fore-finger. "I couldn't decide between you all. I have equal likeness for all of you, so I just decided on Judith. Sister, ya know? She's only 23." Kairu appraised the dress. "These are wonderful!"
"No one has." She laughed a bit. "If she asks you for the spoon, just say, 'there is no spoon.' She'll love you forever." Kairu rushed to the counter, checking the prices. "Um yes, here you go." She handed the clerk several galleons. SEVERAL GALLEONS. The clerk gawked at the hefty sum. "You're paying for it all now?" Kairu nodded briskly.
"Oh, thats right I never met judith it was somebody else...Oh well. my memory is whacked."hazel said absentmindedly."Oh, and I can pay for me own dress, you know."
"Hmmm...Ok." Kairu said, grabbing the box. "Speaking of which, I should call her." She whipped out her cell phone. "Hey. Yeah, I just got it." An eruption of screams came from the other end and- POP! Judith Viridis apparated into the shop. "Lemmie see it!!!" Judith wore a knee length black sundress, graidient glasses, and several peices of yellow jewelry. Her skin was pale, with a few freckles dotted around her cheekbones. Her eyes where a bright green and glowed with yellow eye shadow and black mascarra. "Judith!" She suffecently glomped her younger sister, then turned to Hazel. "And this must be Hazel!" Judith hugged her, black combat boots clunking on the hardwood.
"I HAVE To see it!" Judith took the dress out, examining the details. "Niiice..." She cooed. "Arg! my little sister getting married before me!" She faked a squeal. "Well You'll find your Smith someday." Kairu said. Judith made a face. "blegh, marrage. I'm waiting for thirty." Her cell phone rang, and she whipped it out just as Kairu had done. Maybe it was heridetary. "Hola. Yeah. You wanna talk to her? Fine. Don't use my bedhead, or I'll Kill you." Judith handed the phone to Kairu. It's Mary She mouthed. Kairu chatted with her youger sister for a while, then asked for joe. "Yes. Yes, it's neccisary. fine, fine!" Joe the second picked up, and they chatted untill a clerk kicked them out. "Gah." Kairu said, finaly hanging up. "Shoes...?"
"Oh me gosh!!!" Kairu dashed into the store, then ran out agian. "I left it in there." Judith laughed. "So, I gotta go make dinn-dinns or the little ones." She said, refrencing Mary and Joe. She apperated out of sight to her house. "Well I'm hungry." Kairu said. "That cafe sounds good..." She gazed across the street to the left. A little cafe was there, with numerous tables outside.
