Katherines's eyes fluttered open. She had fallen asleep, but two knocks at her dorm's door awke her. "Hey Kat." Smith Rigby said. Kathrine groaned. Her first boyfriend seemed to neglect her...They where terrible for eachother. She sat up, facing him. "Hey Rig- oh, wait, Smith." Kathrine allways messed up his name. "Kat... I just, I just don't think we're working out..." Smith shuffled his feet. Kathrines eyes where wide with anger. "Fine!" She stood up, pushed him out of the door, and into the commonroom.

"I hope you hang yourself with your H&M scarf," Kat sang as he stormed down the stairs.
"While-" Kat coughed a few times "- listening to Mozart." She slipped to the floor.
"You b**** and moan about LA, wishing you were in the rain reading Hemingway." She stood up, twirling around her dorm. A few other hufflepuffs shifted in their sleep.
"You dont eat meat, and drive electrical cars,
Youre so indie rock its almost an art!
You need SPF 45, just to stay alive!" She stopped, opening the door.

"Youre so gay and you dont even like boys!" Kat sang out off the doorway.

She walked down the stairs, still in the robes she had slept in.

Smith just sat on the couch like nothing had happened.
"Youre so sad maybe you should buy a happy meal, youre so skinny you should really Super Size the deal." He sang, sneering.

That nobody understands you," Kat was steeming as Smith stood.
"Im so mean cause I cannot get you outta your head!
Im so angry cause youd rather MySpace instead!" He walked to her, telling the honest truth.
"I cant believe I fell in love with someone that wears more makeup than"

"Youre so gay and you dont even like boys!" Kathrine sang right back.

Smith scoffed, walking to the door.

"You pull em down and theres really nothing there!" Kat argued.

"Youre so gay and you dont even like boys!" Kat started pacing, back turned.

Sophiana sat on her bed reading her book as her roommates giggled and gossiped about there boyfriends. She sighed as she flipped to the next page. She sighed even louder she flipped onto her back and thought of her boyfriend. For some other reason again today she started to sing.

The students danced to a slow beat. "This is stupid..." Alice Newman said, pacing. She sat with her friends sat in the corner. Alice marched up to the DJ.
"High on the hills with the lonely goatherd, lay-od-lay-od-lay-he-hoo!" Hazel Solomon sang, walking from the refreshment table nonchalantly.
"Yodell back with the girl and goatherd, lay-od-lay-od-low!" Alice hijacked the DJ, Switching the beat. The crowd cleared to Kairu, Sophiana, and Cassi aligned, knees bent.

"Wind it up!" they sang.
Alice head banged at the turntable.
"Wind it up!"
"Wind it up!"
The girls turned to attention, popping their hips.
"uh, uh, uh, uh."
"Yodellay, yodallay, yodal-low!" Hazel sang from the corner.

Sophiana stepped forward, twisting her hands in a un-locking motion.
"This is the key that makes us wind up," The girls placed their hands on their hips, making circle motions.
"When the beat comes on, the girls all line up." Sophiana sang.
"And the boys all look," they make peace signs beside their eyes, then shook their heads.
"but no, they can't touch!"
"But the girls want to know why the boys like us so much!" Sophiana skipped backwards to Cassi and Kairu.

"They like way we dance," kairu sang, sinking to the floor. "they like the way we work!"
"They like the way the L.A.M.B." She framed her chest. "is going 'cross my shirt!"
"They like the way my pants," She turned to the side, twirling her arm slowly upward as she rose from her crouch. "it compliments my shape!"
"They like the way we react every time we dance!"

Cassi switched places with Kairu.
"Everytime the bass bangs, realize it calls your name!"
"Let the beat wind you up" She moved her hips in a circle motion. "and don't stop till your time is up!"
"Get in line now" They whispered. Alice appeared on the side, and Sophiana and Cassi moved forward.

"Wind it up!" The girls twisted around.
"uh, uh, uh, uh" They crouched slowly.
"Wind it up!" they swung their arms in the air.
"uh, uh, uh, uh" They slowly rose.
"Yodellay, yodallay, yodal-low!" All of them sang, switching places. MimMik walked forward.

"You've got to let the beat get under your skin!" She preached.
"You've got to open up, and let it all in," Sirius walked to stand next to her.
"But see, once it gets in, the poppin' begins
And then you find out, why all the boys stare!" They rolled their eyes, going into the crowd again.

Alice moved forward
"They're trying to bite our style!" She put one arm foreward.
"Trying to study our approach!" She cat scratched, twirling.
"They like the way we do it, so original!" She shook her hips.
"I guess that they are slow, so they should leave the room" She sneered at the boys, then made circles with her hips.
"This beat is for the clubs, and cars that go;"

Cassi moved foreward again, others dancing in the background.
"Everytime the bass bangs, realize it calls your name!" she mimicked her last dance.
"Let the beat wind you up, and don't stop till your time is up!"
"Get in line now" they all moved into one line, Hazel picking up the end.

"Uh, uh, uh, wind it up, uh, uh, uh, uh!" They danced in unison, joining hands and shaking hips.

"Wind it up, uh, uh, uh, uh
Wind it up, uh, uh, uh, uh" They turned to the back slowly.
"Yodellay" Hazel and Alice turned to front.
"Yodallay" Sophiana and Kairu turned to front.
"Yodal-" Mimik and Cassi turned to front.
"low!" Sirius turned last, in the center.

The girls sang together in harmony
"Uh huh" (it's your moment) They swung their arms forward in a wave.
"Uh huh" (come on girl, you know you own it) they touched their toes.
"Uh huh" (you know your key is still tick-tockin') They stood erect suddenly, hair flipping.
"Hell yeah!" (and you know they're watchin') They looked half-way to one side, half to the other.

Sophiana stepped in front, dancing.
"Get it girl, get it, get it girl!" the others sang behind
"Get it girl, get it, get it girl!"
"To the front" Sophiana slid forward
"to the side," She slid to the side.
"To the back," She spun around.
"but don't let him ride!"

Kairu switched places.
"Keep goin' girl, it's your night!"
"Don't let him steal your light!" The girls sang in the background.
Kairu stopped dancing, playing an inocent face.
"I know he thinks you're fine and stuff,
But does he know how to wind you up?" She sang.
The beat started again, And the girls switched places with one another.

"Wind it up, uh, uh, uh, uh!" The girls put one arm in the air, dancing to the floor.
"Wind it up, uh, uh, uh, uh!" They stood, dancing in circles around each other.

"Yodellay" Hazel and Sirius turned on the spot, lights that illuminated them shut off to the beat.
"Yodallay" Alice and Mimik turned, sticking a pose. The light shut off on them.
"Yodal-" Cassi turned. "-low" Sophiana turned.
"HEY!" Kairu sank to the floor as they all shouted, now all shrouded in darkness. The crowd cheered for the performance.

Alice skipped across the field, in a particularly happy mood. It was just before the quidditch games. Sirius followed her out, and MiMik stood behind Sirius. Alice turned to them, and a happy tune starting...

In springtime I grew a magic song
Then skipping along, oh I sang the song to everyone she turned, and skipped around them.

I looked at the world through apple eyes pointing to her eyes, she sat on the ground, and rocked back and forth.
And cut myself a slice of sunshine pie she smiled, and got back up.
I danced with the peanut butterflies she flapped her arms rapidly, twirling around the field.
Till time went and told me to say hello but wave goodbye waving, she smiled happily.

Sirius · My red pandas are attacking!

Sirius walked outside to the pitch where her brothers were talking, about to mount their brooms and play. "May I join?" She asked hopefully. They never let her play, doubtful of their little sister's ability. Sorin looked at his brother and grinned, "Sure. Go ahead." Sirius ran off excitedly to get her broom, but Jefferson called after her, "On second thought, no!" She whipped around to them as a beat started.

Who's to say
What's impossible
Well they forgot
This world keeps spinning

She spun around.

And with each new day
I can feel a change in everything
And as the surface breaks reflections fade

Here she did a flip thingy. Then she walked past her brothers, making sure to brush past them, then headed away to the edge of the forest.

She shook her head sadly.

Kairu Viridis walked out into the cool night. Stars shone brightly against Hogwarts, making the lake sparkle and glisten. Why couldn't she just tell that Smith kid how she felt?
"Out here in the quiet of the night

We won't admit, but it's true"
She paced along the shore, outstretching her arm.
You look at me," She gazed out to the lake. "I look away." She withdrew her arm.

"But I don't know how to start!" Kairu sang out.

I'm afraid that you might break my heart!" She fell back against the grass.

"I practice all the things that I would say
Line by line, every word..." She rolled her eyes, sitting up.

"Why?" She asked the sky.
"Why do you turn away?" She wondered. Whenever she caught smiths eyes, he just looked down...

Kairu spun around in the moonlight.

Two hands caught her, and she looked up to see Smith Rigby.

"Oh why should anything so easy ever
Be so hard to do?" Kairu looked down as she sang, blazing pink.

"I love you...." They sang together.

"I love you..." Kairu whispered, reaching up to kiss Smith for the second time.

Raynee Daise · third year

This was in Raynee and Danny's 5th year. Raynee's all reluctant to just say to his face how she feels about him, so Danny doesn't beileve that Raynee loves him, but she does. She loves him with every bit of power that she could ever muster, but she decides to keep him on his toes and not tell him. So, I found this song.

Alice walked down a path at Saarbruken Hill. Orion had broken up with her a few weeks earlier. She stared blankly at the ground. She looked back up, and began to walk and sing.

Within the journey She spread her arms, and began to gracefully twirl around the brick walkway.
Where I grew lost all alone
Only my heart wandered and stood still her hand went to her heart, and the other spread in front of her.
But now I can
Walk very far she skipped solemnly up the walk, and shuffled her feet.
That's right, after I met you
On this road She dragged her hand across the brick.

That travelers sing-
They sound familiar to me she looked down, and covered her ears.
If I'm just with you

If the world that I dreamed of her hands dragged themselves through her hair.
Exists somewhere
Then shall we go search for it? she looked back up, and began to walk again.

Freezing day-breaks she looked to the sky, the white clouds shimmering in the sun.

And shivering dark nights she wrapped her arms around herself.

The mint-colored stars are surely- she spun around, and she tried to smile.
The fragments of tears her mouth slightly opened, a single tear ran down her cheek.

The harbor of the eastern country, the western seaside
In the dark forest, the southern city, a golden tower she wiped the tear away, and looked up, skipping down the hill again.
The northern hill, the same moon that swayed in the water

If its okay for me to hold
Your outstretched hand she grabbed her hand, and stared at it.
Then where shall we go?
Together with you her hands dropped to her sides, and she turned around.
We can go anywhere
Lets go embrace she knelt on the ground, smiled, and hugged herself.
The commotion and aroma
Of the world still unseen... she looked back up towards the sky, her eyes stil wide, and her voice died away.

((Autumn, 5th year))

Thunder cracked, and Raynee smiled. "IT's going to..." he voice trailed off. her voice trailed off as a steady rain fell on her. She sat on a bench in the courtyard, where she spent most of her free time. She got up and sat on the ground, and she heard a laugh behind her. (Hazel is currently mourning for kairu"s mom, whom Jeff, her ex-boyfriend the deatheater killed. Paul has been hanging out with her more and more often, and she's starting to love him, ubt doesn't want to, because she's taken by surprise, and doesn't want to fall in love so soon, especially because she is still mourning)
Hazel sat outside with Paul in the cool air of dusk.There was a chill in the air, and Paul ws sharing his cloak with her to keep her warm. They sat in silence for a while, and then, Paul bent down to kiss her. instead, she pushed him away."No." she said firmly. "Why not?" "I-I DONT WANT TO, cut it OUT!" she screamed."I-I'm..not....", a tear streamed down her pale face. "Hazel...I ..." he interjected.She stood up, turned back to face him, and gazed past the top of his head to a point in the distance, her eyes clouded, and she started to sing.

Inside-out, She stepped back a few paces.
upside-down, Twisting beside myself. she twisted so she ws facing the lake and wrapped her arms around her torso.
Stop that now, She turned back to Paul and made a stop signal with her hand.
'Cause you and I were never meant to be.

I think you'd better leave. She walked back to where he was sitting.
It's not safe in here.
I feel a weakness coming on.

Alright then, (alright then.) She looked like she was about to give up.
I could keep your number for a rainy day. Her finger traced the path of a tear down her face.

Freeze, awake here forever. Her eyes burned into Paul's.

"Oh, 'scuse-"They both said, then cut off. They locked eyes for what seemed like eternity before they continued on their way. Smith grinned as he pushed through the crowd...

"I've just seen a face,
I can't forget the time or place
That we'd just met, she's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met!" He sang, 
spreading his arms wide as he headed to skip class.

"Had it been another day

"Falling!" Smith jumped over a root. "Yes I am falling," He spun, cloak billowing

Kairu Rigby ran out of the hufflepuff dormatorys, from Smith's harsh words of what he did, bolting through MiMik as she talked to another student and not her best friend. She ran as far as she could, and though it was just a moonlit night, she stumbled out to the grounds.

Kairu stopped at the shore of the lake, a insainly pleasant look on her face as she sang.
"I will break into your thoughts...
With what's-" She dragged to her feet, covering her ears. "writ-ten on-my heart..." She held that last note in a high-pitched serenity, then,
"I will-" kairu rose to her feet. "-BREAK!" She screamed out to the lake, leaning over in the effort.
"BREAK!"
Kairu danced, head-banging.
"I'm so sick, infected with,
Where I live!
Let me live without this!" Kairu walkled into the glistening water, her dress skimming the surface.
"Empty bliss! selfishness!" She spun around.
"I'm so sick!" She sang.

Kairu ran to the shore, falling to the ground on her back.
"If you want more of this
We can push out, sell out, die out!" her brow furrowed in anger as she tore at the grass.
"So you'll shut up!" She yelled.
"And stay sleeping...
With my screaming, in your, itching ears!" She stood, moshing.

Empty bliss, selfishness!" Kairu threw her arms up into the air.
