Raynee sat in the Great Hall, having herself a good time studying a small spot on a table. It was her third year. She didn't have many friends, and for the most part, she was a loner. The one good friend she was was Danny, and that was enough for her. She would've liked other friends, though. She hadn't any clue why she didn't- It was just the way things worked for her. Danny sat down next to her, she gave him one of her bored smiles. "What?" he asked. "What what?" she asked him, confused now. "...You look upset." "I'm not," she told him. She had seen a group of girls, friends, and she envied them in a way, because they had someone to lean on. She sighed and said, "Did you know that penguins make kind of a WOOOOOOOAHHHHHHHHHHAAAA noise? "

"Hey orangy." Kairu said, suddenly walking into the great hall. she tousled Raynee's hair. "Soph and the lot ran off on me 'cuz I oh wait ha ha ha..." She laughed.

Raynee lifted an eyebrow. She turned to see Kairu. She didn't know her, but she seemed ok. She didn't look like the kind of person who would suddenly murder you or anything. "Hiya," she said cheerfully.

Kairu pulled out her seinority grin. "I was almost a prefect, almost, but I skipped to..." She turned to walk away, looking over her shoulder. "Youth..." She winked and walked away.
"Who yah talking to?" MiMik asked Kairu as she walked over from the Hufflepuff table. (If Raynees 2 years younger and is in her 3rd year.... than we'ed be in our 5th year... which is the year of the Triwizard Tournament!!)
Alice bounded up, her long honey-coloured hair up in a pony tail. "You know what I just realized?!" she blurted out. She received no answer. "I was a lookin' in the mirror, and what do you think i see?!" she asked. Again, no reply. "'m chlustiau!((my ears)) O , 'm chlustiau!((oh, my ears)) 'm balf made chlustiau!((my beautiful hand-made ears)) MY EARS ARE LOPSIDED!" she screamed, her hands flying up to her wolf ears. They had been hand made by Alice in her second year, and she had magically applied them to her skull. They could twitch and everything, but she had never realised that they were lopsided.

Raynee smiled descreetly, and she approached them. "Hilo," she said in a peppy tone. Not a particulary peppy one, though. She was always happy, so her voice was always like that.
